Introductory Call
We first start with an introductory 15 min phone call. This is our opportunity to learn about your organizing needs and high-level goals.
Initial Consultation
From there, our first meeting will be a consultation. This will be approximately 30 min long. We will walk through your space, and ask questions to get a sense of what’s working well and which areas you would like some support with. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions about the process. From there we will schedule our first organizing session.
Organizing Session(s)
Here we will work together, focusing on a specific area/task, together and will be a minimum of 4 hours. It's important for this to be a time when you are available to make decisions. Some projects can be done where direction is provided initially and the team proceeds to complete the task (packing for a move for example) where other types of organizing like decluttering often require a high level of your involvement to make decisions.
Maintenance Session
Once an initial organizing project has been completed, our team can revisit and evaluate the success of the system and modify to fit your evolving needs.
Virtual organizing works in a similar fashion to in-person organizing with the main difference being that this occurs remotely.

From there, our first meeting will be a consultation over Zoom. This will be approximately 30 min long. We will virtually walk through your space (with you holding your phone/tablet/laptop) and ask questions to get a sense of what’s working well and which areas you would like some support with. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions about the process. From there we will schedule our first organizing session.
Organizing Session(s)
Here we will work together, focusing on a specific area/task, together over zoom and will be a minimum of 3 hours. You will set up your phone/tablet/computer in a position that is comfortable, and we will talk through the process, as you will be manipulating/sorting through items in your space. You may move to other rooms in your home as needed and you're free to take a bathroom break, or have a snack. Our team will be available for the entire period that you have booked with us. Please make sure that you device is charged and that you have suitable internet connectivity. For decluttering projects it is also helpful to have green painters tape, a permanent market and some garbage, recycling and donations bags/boxes handy. You may chose to have a recording of your session provided that you can review at a later point in time.
Maintenance Session

Coaching Session(s)
Ahead of each session we will send you a questionnaire to fill out ahead of time. From there we will use this questionnaire to discuss and identify key areas where would you would like some additional support. Virtual sessions are a minimum of 1 hour in length.
Each session will focus on a specific area, that we will talk through. Be prepared to share your calendar, email and filing set up (paper or electronic) . We may work through a practical example of a challenge together during our session as well. Additional tools/resources can be provided relating to the challenge identified. Usually homework is assigned for accountability purposes at the completion of each session. The next session would start by evaluating the success of implementation from when we last met.
This depends on the type of project and your timeline. Here are some guidelines:
Traditional Organizing/Decluttering
For traditional organizing and decluttering, we can work together based on a frequency that suits your schedule. Some like to do a standing appointment every week or two weeks and others prefer to do a focused effort on a specific project and book consecutive days. In person sessions are a minimum of 4 hours and the number of sessions required really depends on the space and speed of the decision-making process. Once we have completed one working session together, we will both have a better sense of the pace/working style.
Downsizing Projects
For average downsizing projects, generally we recommend working together at least one month prior to your intended move date. For larger homes or homes where items have been accumulating over many decades, ideally we would start working together 6 months prior, so that thoughtful decisions can be made prior to the move.
Moves and Listing Prep
Generally moves have a fixed date and much shorter timeline to work within. We will work together to create a schedule to accommodate your needs, but we recommend that you reach out to us as soon as possible when you know you are planning to move in the future.
Productivity and Time Management Coaching
This is dependent on the individual, but is usually done over a number of shorter sessions occurring weekly or every other week.
Safety is of utmost importance for everyone involved. Upon request, our team members can wear masks when at your location and take a rapid test the day of our appointment.
